A buyer registers with us and selects categories of items that they are interested in. A message will be sent to the buyer when items from those categories are listed or the buyer can browse the site at any time.

After selecting an item to bid on, the buyer can place a bid or insert a hidden maximum bid by using the AutoBid feature. When the bid is no longer the highest, a message will be sent to the buyer to re-bid.

At the selected time, bidding is closed. SalvageService will then notify the highest bidder that they have won the bid and will provide the seller contact information to complete the transaction. (Ties from AutoBid will be awarded to the buyer that first made the highest AutoBid).
